River path, new tunnels, needed connections. 6th to river trail past Sandra Shaw park, get to Michigan, take bike lane to Loop, continue to Peterson Park, return the same way.

21st Street Bike Boulevard and Iowa and 19th Tunnel Bike Ride

21st street from Barker to Ousdahl, Ousdahl to 19th, 19th to the tunnel under Iowa, if construction complete, take route through KU Innovation Park to 21st, cross Iowa at the light and return on the bike boulevard. If construction, return on 19th to Naismith, south on Naismith to neighborhood cut through, zig zag back to east Lawrence neighborhood.

North Lawrence Levee Gravel Ride (Ending at Northside Social)

Springhill Suites over the Kansas River bridge to the levee trail that is parallel to the Kansas river for an inspiring view.  Take the levee trail to the end at Alexander Rd (optional Lawrence River Trail exploration for those that are MTB curious). Left/west onto Alexander road. Left/west onto N 1700 Rd. Left turn/South turn onto 1600 rd. Right or west on 1650 rd. Left or west on N 9th St for one block. Explore Mass Street Walking Tour

Massachusetts Street (referred to by locals as “Mass Street”), is the main street that runs through Downtown Lawrence. The 600–1200 blocks of Mass Street are listed on the National Register of Historical Places under Lawrence’s Historical District. Most of the buildings were built between 1856 and 1953. There’s something amazing on every block!
